What a demo car is — and why we build them
A demo car is built to demonstrate. It lets people see and hear what a brand's equipment and an installer's work can do in a real vehicle, instead of on a showroom wall or a spec sheet. Show cars take the same idea further, with themed paint, wraps, lighting and fabrication designed to stand out at events and competitions.
Every car in this gallery is documented with real photos of the finished work, and each project page lists the work visible in those photos and explains what every part involves: enclosures, amplifiers, door panels, wraps, suspension, wheels and more.
The brands in these builds
The portfolio spans five brands. Ground Zero (4 builds) and Kicker (5) make up most of it — Ground Zero with its high-output subwoofers, Kicker with its unmistakable yellow-and-black look. Rockford Fosgate (2) and Sony (2) include one of our earliest demo cars and the official Sony Colombia demo car, and Alpine (1) anchors a sound-quality build in a BMW 325i.
Brand matters less than you might think. A demo car shows off one brand at a time, but a great system in your own car can mix brands freely. We're authorized dealers for Alpine, JL Audio, Rockford Fosgate, Kenwood and Pioneer, and our car audio brands guide compares the major names category by category.
Show builds vs. daily drivers
Most car audio work isn't a show car — most drivers simply want their daily driver to sound better. That usually means a new head unit that keeps the factory steering-wheel controls, component speakers up front, sound deadening in the doors, and a subwoofer and amplifier in a custom or stealth enclosure that leaves the trunk usable. Installs are lease-safe, with factory-retention harnesses and reversible wiring. If you're just starting, read how to choose a car audio system.
Competition work is where our roots are: SPL and sound-quality builds, including IASCA, by a team that holds IASCA championship titles and an SPL world record. The fabrication, wiring and tuning skills in these demo cars go into every car audio installation we do, whatever the size.
Beyond audio, we handle the rest of a build too: vinyl wraps, suspension, tires and wheels and detailing.
Frequently asked questions
Can you build something like this on my car?
Yes. Tell us your car and your goal and we'll plan around it — from a clean factory-sound upgrade to a full competition build. Call or WhatsApp (786) 516-7353 for a quote, in English or Spanish.
Do I need a show-car build to get great sound?
No. Great sound comes from the right speakers, solid mounting, sound deadening and careful tuning — not from lighting or paint. The show elements in these builds are there to catch the eye; the audio fundamentals underneath are the same ones we use on daily drivers.
Which brands can you install?
The builds in this gallery run Ground Zero, Kicker, Alpine, Rockford Fosgate and Sony. We're authorized dealers for Alpine, JL Audio, Rockford Fosgate, Kenwood and Pioneer, and we can also install subwoofers you already own.
